The Carpet Alarm Clock is an interesting take, forcing you to get out of bed and stepping on it before the alarm is turned off. Yes sir, you can’t just press the snooze button no more and postpone the inevitable with this. Unfortunately, the Carpet Alarm Clock remains a concept as at press time. I wonder how much is the minimum weight required to turn this thing off? If the requirements aren’t too rigid, you can always throw a pillow or chair at it. From Coolest Gadgets
