Red dot award: design concept 2008 in education section, by designer Park Jinsun. It is a pen that enables natural colours to be scanned and instantly used for drawing. The scanner capable of defining the color of the original object that transmits information to a chip that controls the mixing ink cartridges from three (RGB) to get accurate color.

The colors are from the things around us, natural or artificial, all took from our environment. It displays an infinite and diverse range of beautiful colors. The pen is placed against an object and the user presses the colour scan button. The colour sensor detects the colour and displays it on the colour display. The RGB cartridge located within the pen mixes the inks to create the colour scanned.
